System Users

System Users are logins that can access the Back Office area. All subscription plans get at least one login and most others get more than one.

System Users are associated to a role. For Basic and Standard Subscriptions, only one role is available which is Administrator.

System Users consist of the following sections:


User RoleThe User Role is what privileges you have throughout the back office area. By default, Lead Commerce creates one role called Administrator and assigns all Modules to this role (full access).
StatusThis is the user’s status. It can be Active, Inactive and Archived. Inactive and Archived users will not be able to log into the back office system.
First NameThis is the first name of the system user.
Last NameThis is the last name of the system user.
Email AddressThis is the system user’s email address.
PhoneThis is the telephone of the system user.
Profile PictureThis is the system users profile picture which will show up in the top right hand corner of the login box as well as on the history section of the entire back office.

User Preferences:

Default RowsThis is the default number of rows in all tables across the entire back office. The options are 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Column AlignmentThis will allow a system user to specify if they want the table data to appear adjusted left, middle or right.
Default Login TabThis option allows users to specify which module they would like to be loaded into on login.
TimezoneThis allows users who work in different timezones to see what time certain things changed a local time parameters.


Loginthis is the username the system user will enter on the login page for the back office
PasswordThis is the users custom password
Confirm PasswordThis field ensures the user has typed their password correctly again

File Upload Section:

File UploadThis section displays all files that have been associated to this category.
Upload Files ButtonThis button is used to upload one or multiple files to the category from your computer.
Row level ColorboxIf you click on each file that has been uploaded it will open a dialogue window to allow you to make changes to the file name, to display the file in the customer portal and view the full path URL.
File NameThe name of the file
File URLThe full path URL of the file.

History Section:

UserThis column indicates which user made the change to this Category.
ActionThis column indicates what was done.
Modified OnThis column indicates when the change occurred.
